Types of Door Closers

There are different types of door closers some are visible and are mounted on the door or the door frame, others are not easy to see as they are located on the floor or inside the door frame. Improper Installation Avoided

It is advisable to use an expert to set in place the correct operation of the door closer. The installer (expert if you like) will ensure the door closer is positioned at the stipulated height relative to the door frame and they will also ensure the door closer will fit within the specified distance from the door jamb.

Note the positioning of the door closer on the door when compared with the door jamb is determined by the manufacturer, thus guaranteeing the door closer works most efficiently in operation and continues on for the life of the product.
